Through a portrait of Japan’s male geisha, we look at the history of the neighbourhood he lives in. The area of Omori, Tokyo, was heavily affected by the rapid development after the war. The old neighbourhood is gone like many other places in Japan, but he strives to keep the tradition alive even from the concrete jungle.
